My present research is an exploratory study that I am working on with Peter Donovick, Ph.D. at Binghamton University. It is looking at the relationship between tremors and other physical movements that have been noted side effects to psychotropic medications and the amount of psychotropic medications the individuals of the study were actually taking. The method to this study was using the Purdue Pegboard Test to quantify any motor deficits in the hands and arms. Being that this is an exploratory study the researchers felt that this test was a good starting point for initial findings. This study is still being conducted.
